Our Story

Education That Respects
the Learner's Time and Effort

Damri AI was built around a simple belief: that understanding takes time, and rushing rarely helps. We design our courses to support that process, not pressure it.

Who We Are

How Damri AI Came Together

Damri AI started in Bangkok in early 2023, when a small group of practitioners noticed something: there were plenty of AI courses available online, but most of them were built around momentum rather than depth. They moved quickly, expected prior knowledge, and left learners either anxious to keep up or unsure whether they'd really understood anything.

The founding team had a different instinct. They'd spent years working with AI systems in applied settings — data pipelines, small model deployments, client-facing tools — and they knew that real understanding takes longer than a weekend. It involves revisiting things, getting confused, and then, eventually, things making sense in a way that holds up later.

So they built Damri AI around that reality. The name comes from Thai, evoking the idea of a steady, considered path. That's what the courses try to offer: a way to learn AI development that's honest about the work involved, and patient enough to let that work actually happen.

Our Mission

To offer AI education that values genuine understanding over speed, and that gives learners the tools to keep building on what they've learned long after the course ends.

Our Approach

Courses are designed in full before they're offered. Content is reviewed for accuracy and clarity by practitioners with direct field experience. We describe each course honestly — including what's difficult and how long it takes.

Based in Bangkok

Our team is based at 156 Bang Lamphu Lane, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok. While the courses run fully online, the team is reachable directly and prefers straightforward communication.

The People

The Team Behind the Courses

PN

Prawit Nantakul

Co-founder & Lead Instructor

Worked for several years building ML pipelines for logistics companies in Southeast Asia. Designs the core structure of Damri AI courses and leads the Machine Learning Basics program.

SW

Siriporn Wiriya

Co-founder & Curriculum Lead

Background in technical writing and instructional design. Responsible for how course content is structured and sequenced so that ideas build on each other in a way that's easy to follow.

AT

Apichat Thanom

Application Course Mentor

Software developer who has built several small AI-assisted tools for independent projects. Guides students through the AI Application Building course from prototype to completed capstone.

How We Work

Course Quality and Content Standards

Practitioner-Reviewed Content

All lesson material is reviewed by team members with direct applied experience before being included in a course. We remove content that is vague or misleading about how AI systems actually behave.

Data Privacy

Learner information is stored securely and never shared with third parties for marketing. We collect only what is necessary and describe our data practices clearly in our Privacy Policy.

Human Mentor Feedback

Feedback on submitted work comes from a real person who has read what you wrote or built. We don't use automated grading as a substitute for that kind of thoughtful response.

Regular Content Updates

The AI field moves. We review course material periodically to ensure that examples remain relevant and that explanations reflect the current state of the tools and techniques we discuss.

Accurate Course Descriptions

We write course descriptions that reflect what a course actually covers — including its difficulty and the background it assumes. This helps learners make a good decision before enrolling.

Accessible Support

Learners can contact their mentor with questions throughout the course, and can reach the general team for administrative matters. Response times are typically within one working day.

Our Values

What Guides the Work We Do

At Damri AI, we take the position that studying AI development is a substantive undertaking. The field draws on mathematics, programming, systems thinking, and a fair amount of patience with ambiguity. We think learners deserve to know that from the start — and to have a course that accounts for it in how it's paced and supported.

We also think that the way a school describes its courses says something about its relationship with learners. Where some courses promise results without specifying the effort involved, we try to say plainly what you'll encounter and what you'll need to bring to it. That kind of honesty seems more useful in the long run.

Our courses are built around three AI development topics: understanding AI systems conceptually, learning the fundamentals of machine learning, and building small AI applications. These topics are connected, and the courses are designed so that completing one gives you a genuine foundation for the next. We offer them in English and price them in Thai Baht because most of our learners are based in Thailand or have a connection to Southeast Asia.

We're a small team, and that suits how we work. Decisions about course content, mentor assignments, and student communication happen close to the people involved. We don't think scale is a virtue on its own.
